Hello Autumn and welcome sniffles and colds! We’ve just had our first cold of the season and we know it won’t be the last…which requires a few adjustments in the kitchen. I am starting this week with a hopefully restorative Chicken Ginger Soup, but am hoping to have a chance to make few other dishes. Colder weather calls for comforting stews and spices, so I’m eager to try this Moroccan Chickpea stew and a Sweet Potato Spinach Chickpea Curry (a lot of chickpeas I agree). On the menu too, an always highly anticipated pasta dish, Pasta Puttanesca this week, as well as a Turkey Spanish Rice Bake. The week couldn’t possibly end without any sweets so I’m also adding some Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies as well as a Flourless Almond Cake, found on Pinterest, that looks delicious.
